NH Nonghyup Bank, 1st All One Friends Webtoon Contest Awards Ceremony
121 Teams Awarded Including Grand Prize of 10 Million Won, Total Prize Money of 35.6 Million Won Distributed

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 8th that it held the award ceremony for the '1st All One Friends Webtoon Contest' at the Nonghyup Bank headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 7th.
A total of 376 works were submitted to the contest, themed around Nonghyup Bank's social contribution, agriculture, and finance. Notably, participants included a diverse age range with 68 elementary school students, 49 middle and high school students, and 168 people in their 20s.
From the pool of candidates selected through the first preliminary screening by external experts and the relevant department, a total of 121 works were chosen by combining evaluation scores from about 40 internal employees: 1 Grand Prize, 3 Excellence Awards, 5 Merit Awards, 10 Encouragement Awards, 2 Special Awards, and 100 Participation Awards.
The Grand Prize was awarded to a student team from Daegu Catholic University (Woo Ju-yeon, Lee Kyung-rin, Lee Ji-soo) for their entry titled ‘All One Bank Forty Deposit Edition,’ which focused on deposit products for the digitally financially marginalized. Among the elementary school students, the Special Award went to Jeong Ju-yeon, a 6th grader at Yulha Elementary School in Gimhae, for her work titled 'Wise Rural Volunteer Work,' themed on Nonghyup Bank's social contribution activities.
Bank President Son Byung-hwan said, “We thank everyone who participated in the contest, and hope that this contest will provide courage and hope to those dreaming of becoming webtoon artists, and offer children an opportunity to discover new talents.”

Meanwhile, the 21 award-winning works will be exhibited in the lobby of Nonghyup Bank headquarters for two weeks until the 18th, and the exhibition will continue at branch offices later. The awarded works will be published as a book along with the existing Nonghyup Bank webtoon series and donated to public libraries and other institutions.
