SPC GFS Awarded '30 Million Dollar Export Tower' on Trade Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun]SPC Samlip announced on the 8th that its food distribution subsidiary SPC GFS received the '30 Million Dollar Export Tower' award in celebration of the '57th Trade Day.'
Organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and hosted by the Korea International Trade Association, 'Trade Day' annually selects companies that have contributed to pioneering new overseas markets and increasing exports, awarding the 'Export Tower' based on export performance.
SPC GFS was recognized for expanding exports to 47 countries including the United States, China, Hong Kong, Canada, and Australia, and for leading the globalization of the domestic food industry, earning the '30 Million Dollar Export Tower' this year.
The main export items include SPC Samlip's representative bakery products such as Samlip Hoppang, Hotteok, and Migak Bakery, as well as food ingredients like noodles, bread crumbs, and sausages.

An SPC GFS official stated, "In 2019, export volume increased by more than 10% compared to the previous year, and the number of countries entered is steadily expanding as we actively pioneer overseas markets. Moving forward, we will develop customized products for each country and strengthen marketing support in each nation to enhance export competitiveness."
