[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) is conducting the ‘2020 Online Social Economy Market’ to support local social economy enterprises facing difficulties in sales channels amid challenging situations such as COVID-19.
Held throughout December, this online social economy market features participation from 89 social economy enterprises in the Jungnang-gu area, consisting of promotional videos for local social economy enterprises and a social economy academy for residents.
Both programs can be accessed through the official Jungnang-gu Office YouTube channel.
First, the promotional videos for social economy enterprises, titled ‘Exploring Jungnang-gu Social Economy Enterprises via Online,’ introduce 16 local social economy enterprises.
The introduction includes information by sector as well as their products and services, helping residents better understand them.
In particular, to promote social economy enterprises, the district produced 1,000 promotional booklets and 5,000 leaflets, which are also posted on the Jungnang-gu Office website to continue both online and offline promotion.
Additionally, the social economy academy for residents, ‘Exploring Jungnang-gu Social Economy Academy via Online,’ explains the social economy, which can feel rigid and difficult, in an easy and fun way.
The lectures, consisting of a total of 10 sessions, require just 10 minutes a day for ten days, allowing residents to master even advanced courses in the social economy field, and are expected to receive high response from residents.
