Namyang Dairy Launches Grain Yogurt 'Dundeunhan-kki Chestnut & Konjac'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Namyang Dairy Products launched the grain yogurt 'Dundunhan-kki Chestnut·Konjac' on the 7th.
'Dundunhan-kki Chestnut·Konjac' is made using fresh milk and domestic fresh cream based on Namyang Dairy Products' dairy processing expertise. It contains domestic five grains and whole grain oats, as well as Bifidus BB-12. In particular, the newly released 'Chestnut·Konjac' enhances the texture by adding konjac and chestnuts.

Namyang Dairy Products is expanding its grain yogurt product line due to the growth of the related market. The 'Dundunhan-kki' products now consist of three types: the newly launched 'Chestnut·Konjac' and the previously released 'Banana·Konjac' and 'Walnut·Almond' products. According to Nielsen data, as of the first half of the year, the spoonable yogurt (fermented milk products eaten with a spoon) market shows a slight annual growth of 3-4%, while the grain yogurt market increased by 44% compared to the previous year. In the past, the yogurt market trend focused on dessert-type products with added fruit, but currently, the market for products with unique forms such as grains, plain, toppings, and meal replacement concepts is growing.
