According to Cheongyang County on the 7th, the confirmed village residents were found to have had contact with a high school student and their family, who tested positive on the 1st, including dining together at the village senior center. Thirty-five village residents underwent COVID-19 testing at the Cheongyang County Health and Medical Center the previous day, and among them, 11 were confirmed positive early this morning.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases related to this high school student to 17.
