Dongkuk Steel Provides Kimchi-Making Supplies to Local Children's Centers
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Dongkuk Steel supported kimchi-making expenses on the 4th at the 'Sindangkkum Community Child Center' located in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Since 2007, Dongkuk Steel employees have carried out the 'Love Kimchi Making' volunteer activity to support important winter food for children from vulnerable groups. However, this year, due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), they replaced the activity with delivering kimchi-making expenses.

With this support fund, kimchi will be delivered to the homes of 50 children at the 'Sindangkkum Community Child Center.' In addition to kimchi support, Dongkuk Steel continuously provides support for local children every year through experiential learning with students and 'Love Picnic' events.
