Koscom Appoints Hong Woo-seon as New CEO
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Hong Wooseon, former CEO of NICE Information & Telecommunication, has been appointed as the new CEO of Koscom.
Koscom held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on the 4th and appointed Hong Wooseon as the 19th CEO. His term will last until December 4, 2023.
New CEO Hong graduated from Seoul National University with a bachelor's and master's degree in Business Administration. He has served as CEO of KIS Bond Evaluation, research fellow at the Korea Bond Research Institute, CEO of NICE Information & Telecommunication, and vice president of NICE Credit Rating.

Koscom stated, "He has experience developing various new financial products, including introducing the nation's first bond index and bond exchange-traded funds (ETF) to the capital market, and has smoothly signed business agreements and proceeded with commercialization with global financial infrastructure companies."
