View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 4th, first-term lawmakers of the People Power Party stated, “The Democratic Party of Korea is attempting to change the situation through the passage of the Corruption Investigation Office (CIO) bad law by the ‘Pro-Moon Shock Troops’ to cover up the regime’s misconduct,” adding, “We may face a bigger battle next week. Since this will be a decisive battle that determines the fate of the country, first-term lawmakers have agreed today to move the stage of struggle to the National Assembly.”
In their statement on the same day, they said, “We will prevent the dispersion of forces due to numerical inferiority and support the party leadership who requested this, to block the completion of dictatorial legislation in the final legislative battle of the regular session,” and “We will not back down from a bigger fight.”
