Imsil-gun to Recruit 1,900 Participants for Senior Job and Social Activity Programs
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 3rd that it will invest 6.4 billion KRW in project funds to expand senior employment participation and promote senior job and social activity projects through the county and three implementing agencies.
To this end, the county is recruiting participants until the 18th through 12 eup/myeon offices, the Korean Senior Citizens Association Imsil-gun Branch, Imsil Senior Club, and Imsil-gun Senior Welfare Center.
This is an increase of 1.3 billion KRW (9.7%) from last year’s project scale to 6.4 billion KRW, and the number of jobs has increased by 141 (9.2%) to 1,900.
Next year’s senior job and social activity support project will select 1,900 seniors to participate in senior jobs, including public interest activities (1,800), market-type (70), and social service-type (30).
Public interest activities are for basic pension recipients aged 65 or older (those aged 60-64 are also eligible if there are no waiting applicants), and market-type participation is open to residents aged 60 or older.
However, recipients of living benefits under the National Basic Livelihood Security Act, those participating in two or more government and local government jobs, national health workplace subscribers, and those judged to have long-term care grades are restricted from participating.
Senior jobs will start in January and be implemented until the end of the year, providing customized jobs.
Market-type jobs will be for one year (January to December), and public interest activities will be for 11 months (January to December) with 30 hours per month (3 hours per day) of activity.
