Dongdaemun-gu Holds Online Collaborative Governance Forum
District holds real-time public forum on the 7th to discuss cooperative governance policies... Introduction of cooperative activities, discussion on resident-proposed agendas and 2021 cooperative projects
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol) will hold the ‘2020 Online Live Broadcast Public Forum Cooperation Talk & Talk’ on the 7th to widely promote awareness of cooperation and establish an open culture of communication with residents about policies.
The district began discussing cooperation policies in 2017 and is now in its fourth year. To engage residents in cooperative activities, it has held an annual Cooperation Festival.
This year, due to COVID-19 making it difficult to meet residents in person, an online live broadcast cooperation public forum was prepared through the DBS Dongdaemun-gu Office internet broadcasting YouTube channel.
The online public forum, held from 4 to 6 p.m. on the 7th, will be divided into two parts. Part 1 will introduce cooperation and 2020 cooperation activities, and Part 2 will discuss cooperation and resident proposal agendas, as well as projects proposed as 2021 cooperation business agendas. The event will be enhanced with congratulatory performances by singers Seonmyeong and Ha Seon-gyeong, adding enjoyment to both watching and listening.
Those wishing to participate can watch the live broadcast in real time from 4 p.m. on the 7th via the DBS Dongdaemun-gu Office internet broadcasting channel, write real-time comments on the video during the broadcast, or send text messages to the number displayed at the top of the screen to propose opinions and express agreement.
