Kim Jong-in: "Forcing Yoon Seok-yeol Out is a 'Risky Move'... They Will Regret It Like Past Regimes"
"President Moon, Do Not Be Too Obsessed with a Specific Person"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Kim Jong-in, the Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, criticized the court's decision on the 2nd to temporarily suspend the effect of the order excluding Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol from his duties, saying, "It seems like an attempt to get rid of Prosecutor General Yoon by any means, considering various cases that the government finds troublesome."
At the joint meeting of the Emergency Response Committee Chairman and senior lawmakers held at the National Assembly that day, Chairman Kim said, "How did the National Intelligence Service's online comment manipulation case during the previous administration turn out when the then Prosecutor General and others were excluded?" and added, "If you keep making reckless moves to drive out Prosecutor General Yoon, eventually, like the past administration, you will only regret it."
Chairman Kim pointed out, "In any normal democratic country in the world with a GDP exceeding $30,000, does such a situation occur?" and urged, "The government and the ruling party should reflect on this."
