Jang Je-won: "Moon, Immediately Cancel Yoon Disciplinary Committee Meeting"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Jang Je-won, a member of the People Power Party, demanded that President Moon Jae-in take responsibility and called for the immediate cancellation of the disciplinary committee meeting for Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol.
On the 2nd, Jang said on Facebook, "President Moon must take responsibility. He must correct this honestly, not with a cowardly cover-up."
He raised his voice, saying, "President Moon should apologize to the people and immediately dismiss Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae," and "Immediately cancel the disciplinary committee meeting for Prosecutor General Yoon."
Jang stated, "If the law is manipulated with the power entrusted by the people until the end, it will face overwhelming public resistance," and "I pay tribute to the judiciary that has shown that the rule of law in the Republic of Korea is alive."
