The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "On this day, many inland areas will have morning temperatures dropping below freezing, making it cold," adding, "Daytime temperatures will be around 5 degrees Celsius mainly in the central inland areas, and below 10 degrees Celsius in other regions, making it chilly."
Dryness warnings are in effect for Gangwon Yeongdong, the Gyeongsang coast, some inland areas of Gyeongsang, and the eastern part of Jeonnam, where the atmosphere will be quite dry.
From morning to daytime, there will be sporadic snowfall in the mountainous areas of Gangwon and Jeju Island, and raindrops may fall in the eastern part of Jeju and the southern coast of eastern Jeonnam.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted as follows: △Seoul -1°C △Daejeon -1°C △Daegu -1°C △Busan 5°C △Jeonju 0°C △Gwangju 1°C △Cheongju 0°C △Chuncheon -2°C △Gangneung 3°C △Jeju 7°C △Ulleungdo·Dokdo 6°C △Baengnyeongdo 2°C.
The daytime high temperatures are expected to be: △Seoul 6°C △Daejeon 8°C △Daegu 11°C △Busan 14°C △Jeonju 9°C △Gwangju 11°C △Cheongju 7°C △Chuncheon 6°C △Gangneung 9°C △Jeju 12°C △Ulleungdo·Dokdo 9°C △Baengnyeongdo 5°C.
Fine dust levels will be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.

The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "From the afternoon of the 2nd until the 3rd, strong winds and high waves are expected in the southern offshore waters of Jeju Island, so vessels engaged in navigation or fishing should exercise caution."
