[Asia Economy Reporter Wondara] According to the fire authorities, a fire broke out around 4:37 PM on the 1st at the 12th floor of a 25-story apartment in Sanbon-dong, Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi-do, resulting in 4 deaths.
Among the deceased, 2 people died after falling from the 12th floor to the ground, and the other 2 were found dead on the rooftop stair landing.
The fire authorities deployed 70 personnel along with equipment such as pump trucks and aerial ladder trucks to carry out firefighting operations, which were completed around 5:11 PM, about 30 minutes later.
