Gyeongnam Province Declares 'Pause' Period for Year-End and New Year Gatherings
Refrain from Year-End and New Year Construction Gatherings and Events, Spend Year-End and Start in Small Family Units
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do has designated the period from the 1st to January 15th as the 'Year-end and New Year Gathering Pause Period.'
This measure is a serious response to the nationwide spread trend and the expansion of group infections over the past week.
The province has urged restraint from all public and private events, including post-SAT celebrations, Christmas, year-end parties, closing ceremonies, sunrise viewing, and New Year gatherings.
The three major quarantine rules to observe during the year-end and New Year period are ▲ avoiding the 3Cs (Crowded places, Close-contact settings, and Confined spaces) and refraining from using high-risk multi-use facilities such as bathhouses and entertainment venues ▲ strictly following the five key personal quarantine rules when using multi-use facilities inevitably ▲ promptly undergoing diagnostic testing if respiratory symptoms such as a cold appear.
