Starbucks Begins Reservations for Christmas Whole Cakes
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Starbucks Coffee Korea is launching five new 2020 Christmas whole cakes starting from the 1st and is beginning full-scale pre-order sales.
The Christmas whole cakes introduced this year include a total of five types: ‘Strawberry Cheese Cake,’ ‘Cream Puff Tree Baumkuchen,’ ‘Black Chocolate Cake,’ ‘White Milk Cake,’ and ‘Santa Velvet Cake.’
The ‘Strawberry Cheese Cake’ is a rich cheese cake topped with fresh and sweet Seolhyang strawberries, while the ‘Cream Puff Tree Baumkuchen’ contains sweet cream puffs with vanilla beans inside a Christmas tree-shaped baumkuchen.
Additionally, the ‘Black Chocolate Cake’ features a cake sheet with deep color and chocolate flavor topped generously with rich black ganache cream; the ‘White Milk Cake’ is layered with milk fresh cream and white pearl chocolate on a pure white milk cake sheet; and the ‘Santa Velvet Cake’ is made by layering rich cheese cream between red velvet and black cocoa cake sheets. These diverse colors and flavors of Christmas whole cakes are prepared so families can share the warm Christmas atmosphere of Starbucks together.
The 2020 Christmas whole cakes can be pre-ordered only through the Siren Order within the Starbucks application until the 17th. Cake pickup is available from the 21st until Christmas Day, the 25th. Customers who pre-order will receive two free drink e-coupons and a Bearista candle. Also, between the 1st and 7th, Starbucks Rewards members who pre-order using a Starbucks Card through Siren Order will receive an additional 3 stars per item.
Furthermore, starting from the 2nd, Starbucks will release two new Christmas promotional beverages with the concept of Santa’s coffee gifts for adults.
