According to Gyeongsangbuk-do on the 30th, as of midnight, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the region was 1,662, an increase of 4 from the previous day.
Two additional confirmed cases are related to the Yeongdeok Funeral Hall. They were classified as contacts of the first confirmed case at the funeral hall on the 17th and were in self-quarantine, but tested positive before the quarantine was lifted. Including these two, the number of confirmed cases related to the Yeongdeok Funeral Hall has increased to 12.
One confirmed case related to Yeungnam University, which started from a music instructor who was infected after contact with a confirmed case in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, was also identified in Gyeongju on the 29th. The number of confirmed cases related to Yeungnam University has increased to 9, with 2 on the 27th, 6 on the 28th, and 1 on the 29th.
In Cheongdo-gun, one resident who met with a family member confirmed positive after visiting their hometown in Jeju (Jeju case number 76) was notified of contact and tested positive after examination.
