[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Three additional COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Gwangju.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 27th, three people tested positive for COVID-19 in the afternoon, classified as cases 663 to 665.
Case 663 is a resident of Hakdong, Dong-gu, and is a family member of a doctor at Chonnam National University Hospital (Gwangju case 650) who was confirmed positive the previous day.
Cases 664 and 665 are overseas arrivals who were immediately placed in facility quarantine at the Fire Service Academy upon arrival in Gwangju, with no contacts reported, according to the city. They arrived from Hungary and Nepal, respectively.
