XL Games Reports COVID-19 Case... Pangyo IT Industry on Alert
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] On the 27th, XL Games reported a confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Following NCSoft, another confirmed case has emerged, causing tension in the Pangyo IT industry.
According to XL Games, one employee was diagnosed with COVID-19 on this day.
XL Games occupies the 7th and 8th floors of the Neowiz building located in Pangyo Technovalley, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do.
With a confirmed case in the building, the Neowiz building has been closed.
A Neowiz official stated, "Although employees were working from home this week, some came to the office. Starting next week, the entire company will switch to remote work."
