[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yeongdeungpo-gu (Mayor Chae Hyun-il) will hold the "2021 Yeongdeungpo Regular Admission Support Strategy Briefing" online for high school students and parents from December 9 this year to January 13 next year, in collaboration with the Yeongdeungpo University Admission Information Center.
The briefing, originally scheduled to be held at Yeongdeungpo Art Hall on December 5, was changed to an online format due to the implementation of social distancing level 2 following the rapid spread of COVID-19 in the local community.
The briefing will be conducted by Woo Yeon-cheol, director of the JinHakSa Admission Strategy Research Institute, known as a prestigious expert in college admissions.
The program includes valuable content such as ▲Mock evaluation and regular admission support strategies ▲Fact check on past regular admissions ▲Strategies for each 2021 regular admission screening type ▲Analysis of regular admission guidelines by major universities, and will last for two hours.
The briefing video will be posted on the Yeongdeungpo University Admission Information Center website from 10 a.m. on December 9 until the regular admission application deadline on January 13 next year.
The district expects that students will receive significant help in deciding on three universities in groups A, B, and C that are advantageous for their regular admission applications by watching the briefing video.
The regular admission materials can be requested by using the Google link announced on the banner or bulletin board of the Yeongdeungpo University Admission Information Center website.
The application period is from 10 a.m. on December 1 to 3 p.m. on December 31.
The materials will be sent sequentially in the order of application until 3 p.m. on December 31 so that students can use them in a timely manner.
Meanwhile, residents and students who want additional counseling can use the 1:1 admission counseling service operated by the University Admission Information Center free of charge up to two times. Reservations must be made two days before the counseling date through the center’s website, and applicants should visit on the scheduled date.
Simple consultations to resolve admission questions can also be received through the center’s website "Online Admission Counseling." This does not count toward the limit on the number of in-person counseling sessions.
