On the 27th, the banking sector will temporarily suspend the local tax revenue collection service related to WeTax in response to a cooperation request from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety regarding the suspension of local tax revenue payments.
The service suspension period is from 11:30 PM on the 27th until 6 PM on the 29th. Services related to WeTax and Smart WeTax will be temporarily suspended. This includes electronic reporting and payment of local taxes and non-tax local revenues, payments via bank CDs and ATMs, and internet Giro payments. However, payments through virtual accounts or ARS services operated independently by local governments will still be possible.

The reason for this temporary service suspension is offline inspection work to ensure the stable provision of local tax reporting and payment services on WeTax. Accordingly, the banking sector has taken measures to attach related notices to automated machines and requested each branch to thoroughly respond to customers and handle related tasks carefully.
