Eli and Ji Yeonsu Suddenly Announce Divorce "Son and Mother Are in Korea"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Singer Eli, a former member of the group U-KISS, and Ji Yeon-su, a former racing model turned broadcaster, who attracted attention for overcoming an 11-year age gap to get married, have divorced.

On the 26th, Eli posted a lengthy message on his Instagram announcing the divorce from Ji Yeon-su. He said, "My wife and I have decided to separate," adding, "I am currently in the United States, and Michael (our son) is living with his mother in Korea."

Eli stated, "Although I cannot see Michael right now, I will visit him as often as possible and do my best to be the father figure he needs." He also added, "I don't know what the future holds, but I pray for Michael and his mother's happiness. I am sorry that it ended this way."

The news of their divorce saddened fans. Previously, Eli and Ji Yeon-su registered their marriage in 2014 and held their wedding ceremony in 2017. The couple has one son.
