Jeonnam Provincial Assembly Member Kim Yong-ho Criticizes Waste of Budget on Factory Smart System Project
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-gyeong] Kim Yong-ho, a member of the Jeonnam Provincial Council (The Democratic Party, Gangjin 2), pointed out issues of waste in the factory smart system distribution project during the review of the 4th supplementary budget proposal for the Economic Energy Bureau of the Jeonnam Provincial Council.
On the 26th, Councilor Kim Yong-ho stated, "The factory smart system construction project is a matching project funded by both national and local governments," adding, "Although the amount requested by companies increased compared to the previous year and the budget was accordingly increased, there are concerns about increasing the budget at a time when less than two months remain before the fiscal year closes."
He continued, "We must not allow support funds to be wasted or the distribution of systems that fail to meet expectations, causing problems such as product defects and cost reductions, simply by focusing on achieving the smart system distribution rate," emphasizing, "Efforts such as performance analysis by Jeonnam Province are absolutely necessary to ensure definite results from the budget investment."

In particular, he argued, "It is necessary not only to distribute smart systems but also to actively manage follow-up measures to supplement deficiencies and make proactive improvements so that positive expected effects, such as increased corporate productivity in the post-COVID-19 era, can contribute to Jeonnam's economic growth."
