Gwangju Nam-gu Operates 'Phone Call Outgoing Visit Record Service'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Byeong-nae) is operating a ‘Phone Call Outgoing Visit Record Service’ that blocks personal information leakage while accurately recording visit logs to prepare for the spread of COVID-19 and efficiently protect administrative agency buildings.
On the 26th, Nam-gu announced that it will introduce and operate the phone call outgoing visitor record service to prevent personal information exposure caused by manual logbook writing when entering the government office and to provide convenience to civil petitioners who have difficulty using electronic QR codes.
The phone call outgoing visitor record service is a system where civil petitioners visiting Nam-gu Office, the annex building’s comprehensive civil service office, 16 administrative welfare centers in the districts, and the Songam-dong traffic civil service office can dial the number posted at the building entrance with their mobile phones, and the visit date and time are automatically recorded.
Nam-gu assigned unique numbers to each government building, and for the Nam-gu General Government Building, which has multiple entrances, individual unique numbers were designated for each entrance.
When calling the designated unique number, an ARS message saying “Your visit registration has been confirmed” is announced, and visitors to the administrative agency can use the service free of charge without any additional cost.
This service will be maintained until the COVID-19 situation is resolved.
