Broadcasting Online Home Shopping via YouTube Live Streaming
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 25th that it will hold an online Thursday market as part of a support project to develop sales channels for revitalizing the local social economy.
This project is the first of its kind planned within the province, designed to support social economy enterprises struggling with face-to-face sales channels due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Pre-selected products are promoted and sold online in a home shopping format through YouTube.
The online Thursday market started broadcasting on the 19th and will continue every Thursday at 6 p.m. until December 17, selling four types of social economy enterprise products through real-time streaming on the YouTube channel ‘Gyeongnam Gachisaneun Market’.
The broadcast is hosted by announcer Jo Bok-hyun, the host of Gyeongnam MBC’s ‘Noon Hope Song,’ and runs for one hour. Each company representative introduces their products and communicates directly with viewers through online Q&A sessions.
Additionally, the products featured on the broadcast can be purchased immediately through the provided purchase links.
