Jeju Police Agency Conducts 'On-site Legal Consultation' Program
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters (Jeju) Reporter Hwang Jeong-pil] Jeju Provincial Police Agency announced on the 25th that it recently conducted community policing activities called "Walking Around the Neighborhood," including "On-site Legal Consultation Visits" involving the headquarters, police stations, merchant associations, and related organizations.
During this community policing activity, the following were conducted: ▲ Legal consultations for residents and tourists ▲ Operation of OX legal knowledge quizzes and promotional booths ▲ Joint patrols to prevent voice phishing and cybercrime (police, related organizations, merchant associations).
Through the "On-site Legal Consultation Visits," legal consultation services were provided to guide various legal procedures such as questions related to criminal or civil matters and trial processes, as well as victim relief procedures and protective measures in case of crime victimization.
At Jeju Police Agency, police officers (inspectors) qualified as lawyers are specially hired and assigned to frontline investigation departments to handle investigations involving complex legal issues and provide legal consultation services.
