K2 Donates Ice Grippers Worth 280 Million KRW to Fire Department Headquarters
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Outdoor brand K2 announced on the 25th that it donated 8,146 pairs of ice cleats worth 280 million KRW to fire departments in four regions.
On the 24th, K2 held a donation ceremony for the ice cleats at the Gangwon-do Fire Department located in Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do, attended by K2 Business Director Jicheol Jong, Gangwon-do Fire Department Chief Chungsik Kim, and Korea National Firefighters Association Chief Taehoon Kim, among other officials.
The ice cleats worth 280 million KRW donated by K2 this time were delivered to fire departments in four regions: Gangwon-do Fire Department, Gyeongsangbuk-do Fire Department, Gyeongsangnam-do Fire Department, and Gwangju Metropolitan City Fire Safety Headquarters. They will be used by firefighters and fire-related personnel in each fire department for safe firefighting and rescue activities during the winter season.
