Muan-gun, Residents Directly Choose the City Brand
Conducting Resident Preference Survey for City Brand Selection
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County, Jeonnam (Governor Kim San) announced on the 24th that it will conduct a public preference survey through the county website from the 24th to the 29th to finalize the new county city brand.
The county is currently conducting a project to develop a city brand and BI (Brand Identity) that reflects Muan County's identity and future development vision.
As a result of the project so far, three brand names have been derived: "Capital of Jeonnam, Platform Muan," "Hwangtogol Muan," and "Muan Sensibility, Infinite Impression." Among 15 design candidates developed for each proposal, the BI will be finalized through a public preference survey.
A county official stated, "By allowing residents to directly participate in the decision-making process of the county administration, we aim to build consensus and boost pride in the administration. Therefore, we are conducting a preference survey so that residents can select the BI they like." He added, "We ask for the active interest and participation of residents so that an excellent BI that can enhance Muan County's brand image will be selected."
