Gwangju Bank Opens Winter Shelter at All Branches
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Gwangju Bank announced on the 24th that it will operate winter shelters to prepare for the cold wave until February 26 next year at 145 branches in the Gwangju, Jeonnam, and metropolitan areas.
Since 2018, the Gwangju Bank winter shelters have been operated annually as spaces to escape the cold wind caused by cold waves and heavy snow. They have played a significant role as a refuge for customers and local residents to spend a safe and healthy winter.

The winter shelters are available to anyone during branch operating hours and will be operated in strict compliance with the social distancing guidelines for COVID-19. In addition, portable hot packs and KF94 masks approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, essential items for winter, will be provided free of charge.
