Forecast: Global Training Program to be Held from 24th to 26th... Conducted in Non-Face-to-Face Format
Over 200 Executives and Employees from Deposit Insurance Agencies of 22 Countries Participate
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] The Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation will conduct the 6th Global Training Program from the 24th to the 26th.
Due to COVID-19, this training will be held online and will be attended by over 200 executives and employees from deposit insurance organizations in 22 countries across four continents: Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America.
This training, themed "Crisis Response and Resolution of Financial Companies," will introduce KDIC's response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and include lectures on methods and cases of resolving insolvent financial companies. Participants will be provided with real cases of financial company insolvency to derive resolution methods and will have the opportunity to access an online practice site to calculate deposit insurance payouts.
