[Asia Economy Reporter Park Soyeon] Lotte Chemical announced on the 23rd that it has established a customer-oriented digital service platform called 'MaaS (Material as a Service)'. 'MaaS' is a digital platform that provides customers who have purchased products with real-time information on order status and transportation through PC and smartphone mobile apps.
Through this, customers can efficiently manage inventory by checking real-time transportation information from order to delivery of purchased products. Additionally, sales representatives can communicate interactively with customers through real-time sales support services such as quality tracking for customer inquiries, defective product management, and product search.

The 'MaaS' platform has been providing services since October to domestic customers who purchase PE (Polyethylene) and PP (Polypropylene), and currently, about 1,000 customer companies are using it. In the future, the service will be expanded by incorporating feedback from customers, partners, and sales representatives, stabilizing the platform, and extending the scope to customers purchasing other products.
