New York Stock Market Closes Lower Across the Board... Dow Weekly Gain Rate -0.7%

On the 20th (local time), the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 219.75 points (0.75%) to close at 29,263.48, the S&P 500 index dropped 24.33 points (0.68%) to 3,557.54, and the Nasdaq index declined 49.74 points (0.42%) to finish at 11,854.97.
On a weekly basis, the Dow fell 0.73%, and the S&P 500 decreased by 0.77%, while the Nasdaq rose 0.22%. The Dow attempted to break the 30,000 mark this week but ended unsuccessfully.
