Ha Tae-kyung: "Moon Administration's Real Estate Regulation Bomb... Kim Hyun-mi Must Be Immediately Dismissed"
"Repeating Bizarre Policies That Torment the People"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 20th, Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the People Power Party, criticized the 24th real estate measure of the Moon Jae-in administration, saying, “Seven additional areas, including Gimpo and Haeundae, have been designated as real estate adjustment target areas,” and added, “They raised house prices and jeonse prices themselves, and now they are tormenting the people again with absurd policies to suppress them.”
On the same day, Ha said on Facebook, “South Korea has become a real estate policy laboratory for the Moon Jae-in administration, and our people have become moles being hammered by the government’s hammer.”
Ha pointed out, “The government showers the entire area with regulatory bombs whenever house prices rise even slightly,” and said, “The people, reluctantly accepting this, flock to other areas with fewer regulations, and the government then pours regulatory bombs on those areas as well. It’s no different from a mole-catching game.”
Ha emphasized, “The existing real estate system in South Korea is a K-real estate system that can stand proudly anywhere in the world. The government should play a role in supplementing the parts lacking in this system formed according to our country’s circumstances,” and added, “It should greatly expand livable residential areas and public apartments where ordinary people can live comfortably, and leave the rest to the existing system.”
