Infraware "Cryptocurrency PolarisShare (POLA) Listed... Expecting 100 Billion Won Revenue"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Infraware announced on the 20th that the cryptocurrency 'POLA' of the online knowledge-sharing blockchain platform 'Polaris Share' has been listed on Bithumb, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in Korea.
POLA began trading on the Bithumb exchange on the afternoon of the 19th. On the first day of trading, the price reached 670 KRW, nearly 30 times higher than the presale price of 24 KRW conducted through Korea's leading coin community, Cobak, in July. Subsequently, as of 8:44 AM on the 20th, it traded at 697 KRW, setting a new all-time high. Based on this peak price, the market capitalization reached 3.485 trillion KRW.
Polaris Share is a knowledge-sharing blockchain platform based on Polaris Office, a global office software with a network of over 100 million subscribers. Beyond simple document sharing services, it aims to build an ecosystem where knowledge producers are rewarded by evaluating the value of knowledge, and users can obtain high-quality knowledge at a low cost. It is currently in the beta testing phase and preparing for a global official launch.
The platform was developed by the Singaporean company DCompany and invested in by Infraware and the US blockchain leading company ConsenSys. As a key strategic partner of Polaris Share, Infraware holds 250 million POLA tokens, which is 5% of the total issued POLA tokens. Based on the POLA trading price of 697 KRW, the investment value is approximately 174.3 billion KRW.
An Infraware representative stated, "More than 100 million Polaris Office users worldwide will be able to obtain high-quality content and generate new revenue through Polaris Share, growing into a larger global knowledge network." He added, "With the recent surge in Bitcoin prices reaching a three-year high and the heated interest in cryptocurrency investment, the value of Infraware's investment following the POLA listing is also expected to increase."
He continued, "Due to significant volatility in 24-hour daily trading, it is difficult to discuss precise capital gains, but currently, the investment value of POLA has surpassed Infraware's market capitalization." He emphasized, "Considering the knowledge trading market estimated to be worth hundreds of trillions, the future value of POLA is difficult to estimate and is expected to have limitless growth potential."
