3 Additional COVID-19 Cases Overnight in Gwangju... 2 Related to Jeonnam National University Hospital
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Overnight, three new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Gwangju, raising the total number of confirmed cases to 599.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 20th, three additional confirmed cases were identified the previous day: two related to Chonnam National University Hospital and one who had contact with a confirmed case from another region, classified as Gwangju cases 597 to 599.
Case 597 is a resident of Hakdong, Dong-gu, who is known to have had contact with case 546, the first confirmed patient at Chonnam National University Hospital.
Case 598, residing in Seoseok-dong, Dong-gu, was confirmed to be a part-time worker at Chonnam National University Hospital.
Case 599 is a resident of Sochon-dong, Gwangsan-gu, who had contact with case 310 from Jeonnam. Case 310 is a contact of case 287 from Jeonnam, whose infection route is currently under investigation.
