Guro-gu Provides Heating Supplies Including Electric Heating Mats to Vulnerable Households in Winter

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Guro-gu (Mayor Lee Seong) provided customized heating supplies to vulnerable households during the winter season.
The support targeted 654 households. The supplies included 273 heating mats, 233 winter blankets, 45 insulation air caps, 40 knee blankets, 13 electric heaters, and 500 hot packs.
This heating supply support was carried out using funds raised last year by the Guro-gu Nanum Network.
Guro-gu conducted a preliminary demand survey for necessary heating supplies through each neighborhood community center last month. Support was completed on the 13th of this month for vulnerable households without heating supplies or those needing replacement due to aging.

A Guro-gu official stated, “We distributed heating supplies in advance before the severe cold sets in,” and added, “We hope that our neighbors in need will have a warm winter both physically and emotionally.”
