With this selection, Nam-gu has been chosen for the 'U-Library Service Construction Support Project' by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for three consecutive years from 2018 to this year.
The construction project for the 4th smart library in the district is scheduled to proceed in earnest from early next year.
Nam-gu's plan is to start construction in the first half of next year and aim to open around July of the same year.
Nam-gu has achieved the establishment of three smart libraries within the past year by participating in the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's library service construction support project competition.
Starting with the opening of the first smart library in the district behind Bigsupo Plaza in Pureungil Park in September last year, the second smart library was introduced at Mudeung Market in July this year.
Additionally, the 3rd smart library, scheduled to open at the end of this year, is currently being constructed near the Pureungil Park rest area opposite Namgwangju Nonghyup in Juwol-dong.
