Pasu, Bplus Lab, and Bumin Hospital Sign MOU for Non-Face-to-Face Medical Services
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Fasoo announced on the 19th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for safe non-face-to-face medical services with BplusLab, a medical ICT specialized company, and Budmin Hospital of Indang Medical Foundation at Seoul Bumin Hospital.
Due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, interest in non-face-to-face medical services has increased in the medical market. Fasoo and the other two companies will collaborate to develop a system capable of digital-based non-face-to-face medical services and implement a medical environment that can safely protect personal information and patients' sensitive data.
Fasoo, recognized for its technological expertise in data security, management, and utilization solutions, will support the safe collection, storage, transmission, and use of rapidly increasing medical information during non-face-to-face consultations. They will jointly develop Voice EMR (Electronic Medical Record), an AI-based voice recognition medical record system, and supply a personal information de-identification solution to anonymize personal data within extracted text files.
The three companies will jointly carry out a cloud-based system construction project for the medical information service "Eodiapa" developed by BplusLab. This system will enable hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, insurance companies, and government agencies to exchange Personal Health Records (PHR). After development, Budmin Hospital will conduct a pilot application, with plans to expand to other hospitals.
Cho Gyugon, CEO of Fasoo, stated, "As non-face-to-face medical services are expected to grow due to COVID-19, platforms that safely and efficiently manage important patient information, including personal data, are also expected to experience explosive growth."
