Capacity Limited to 50% at Bukhansan and Mudeungsan Ecological Exploration Centers
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Ministry of Environment announced on the 18th that from the 19th to the 2nd of next month, for two weeks, the 'social distancing' level in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gwangju will be raised to level 1.5, resulting in a 50% capacity limit on facilities such as the National Park Ecological Exploration Centers.
The targeted centers are the Bukhansan Ecological Exploration Center in the Seoul metropolitan area and the Mudeungsan Ecological Exploration Center in Gwangju.
The Ministry of Environment and the Korea National Park Service plan to focus on promoting social distancing through the National Park website, electronic message boards, and main trail entrances to guide visitors.
National park trails will remain open.
