Donggu Electronics Launches Unmanned Cafe Machine TiTime A1
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Donggu Electronics announced on the 18th that it has launched the unmanned cafe machine TEATIME A1.
TEATIME A1 is a ‘contactless coffee machine’ equipped with a coffee machine, ice maker, cup dispenser, payment system, and operation management system.
By linking individual products into one system, customers can order and pay for coffee by themselves without a store owner present. It can store up to 36 types of coffee and beverage menus, allowing free addition or modification of menus according to preferences.
By applying Internet of Things (IoT) technology, various data such as product status, orders, and payments can be checked remotely in real time.
It is equipped with key core components of commercial coffee machines, including ▲Procon Pump ▲large-capacity blower (capable of inputting 20 grams of coffee beans) ▲two grinders that can use two types of coffee beans ▲and an extra-large 23.6-inch LCD touch display.
In particular, the high-spec Procon Pump not only supplies abundant high-pressure hot water to maintain stable extraction pressure (9 bar) but also enables continuous coffee sales.
TEATIME A1 takes only 22 seconds to fully automatically extract one shot of espresso. In the case of a semi-automatic machine, it takes 1 to 1.5 minutes depending on skill level.
The coffee beans come in two types with a loading capacity of 4.4 kg, and beverage powders come in six types with a loading capacity of 1.5 kg each. The ice maker can provide up to 150 kg of ice per day.
The extra-large 23.6-inch LCD touch display allows menu selection and payment confirmation at a glance. It also informs the sales process through graphics and voice.

A Donggu Electronics official explained, “As the contactless trend has spread due to COVID-19, demand for untact payment and unmanned stores without people is rapidly increasing. The steep rise in minimum wages and store rents is raising the entry barriers for self-employed entrepreneurs, leading us to introduce this innovative product.”
