View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 18th that it participated in the online expo 'Asean Super8' held in Malaysia from the 17th to the 19th to pioneer the Southeast Asian overseas market, a rising region for elevators, and to promote the Geochang Elevator Valley.
The Malaysia Asean Super8 is the largest industrial expo in Southeast Asia, covering eight fields including elevators, electric power, architecture and construction, industrial machinery, and engineering.
This expo was jointly participated by Geochang-gun and the Korea Elevator Safety Agency, with 11 elevator companies participating in two online booths, the Geochang Elevator Valley Pavilion and the Korea Pavilion, supporting market development for small and medium-sized enterprises struggling with exports due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the 18th, Gu In-mo, the county governor, participated in a webinar and promoted the Geochang Elevator Valley and the project to create a global elevator hub city.
