In response, Seong Il-jong, a member of the People Power Party, sarcastically said, "I hope the super ruling party uses its power to impeach Prosecutor General Yoon."
On the same day, Seong posted on his Facebook, addressing Lee, "When exactly did Prosecutor General Yoon fail to maintain political neutrality? Is investigating the Moon Jae-in administration's corruption considered a breach of political neutrality?"
He added, "Was investigating the Four Major Rivers Project and resource diplomacy during the Lee Myung-bak administration also a failure to maintain political neutrality? And was investigating the National Intelligence Service's online comment manipulation case during the Park Geun-hye administration also a breach of political neutrality?" He urged, "Please clearly explain why there is a controversy over Prosecutor General Yoon's political neutrality."
He continued, "If Prosecutor General Yoon is currently failing to maintain political neutrality, it started with President Moon's instruction to 'be strict even with the living power,'" and pointed out, "Yoon is just diligently following that order, so is the president's instruction wrong?"

Seong also said, "If Prosecutor General Yoon is indeed failing to maintain political neutrality and abusing prosecutorial power as Lee claims, I hope he is impeached immediately," emphasizing, "Isn't the ruling party a super majority with 180 seats? Why are you not impeaching him and just letting it be? If there is no reason for impeachment, then there should be no criticism either."
He added, "If Prosecutor General Yoon is at fault, the president, who holds the power of appointment, should take responsibility and apologize first," and questioned, "Do you really not understand why public support for Prosecutor General Yoon has been rising recently?"
He further stated, "The public's resentment toward the lies of this administration, which claims fairness and justice, and anger at the ruling party's privileges, unfairness, loopholes, and tricks are manifesting as support for Prosecutor General Yoon," raising his voice, "Do you really not know who created this phenomenon?"
Finally, Seong said, "Now the people have begun to judge the government and the ruling party, and the spirit of the times demanded by the people is culminating in fairness and justice."
Earlier, Lee attended the Kwanhun Forum on the same day and, regarding voices within the ruling party calling for Prosecutor General Yoon to settle his position, stated, "As long as Prosecutor General Yoon remains in that position, he must behave appropriately as a public official."

Regarding the conflict between Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae and Prosecutor General Yoon, he said, "In the case of Minister Choo, there are some criticisms about her style," but added, "Although not everything is seen as right, it was inevitable to direct the investigation when the prosecution itself became the subject of investigation."
