"Because She Is a Woman," Kang Kyung-hwa; Park Sun-young Says, "She Doesn't Realize It's a Lack of Ability..."
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-eun] Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha said, "As the first female foreign minister holding such a heavy position, I am doing my best, but sometimes I feel, 'Is it because I am a woman?'" Meanwhile, former Liberty Forward Party lawmaker Park Sun-young criticized Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha on the 17th, saying she "does not realize it is due to her lack of ability."
On the same day, former lawmaker Park wrote on her Facebook, "Our diplomacy is not just wrong; it has already entered a stage of collapse and disappearance. However, Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha does not realize that the cause is her incompetence and instead says she is being passed over because she is a woman," she said.
She continued, "Now I understand why these days Na Hoon-a, or rather the entire nation, is only looking for Tess-hyung," adding, "You need to know yourself. Are you saying you are ignored because you are a woman without reflecting on your own incompetence?"
She then questioned, "(Is German Chancellor) Merkel a man? Was (former British Prime Minister) Thatcher a man? Is (U.S. Secretary of State) Albright a man?" and said, "They are all powerful women of great nations? Then, is Taiwan's Tsai Ing-wen, who is fighting against Xi Jinping, a man?"
Former lawmaker Park pointed out, "Countless female leaders are actively working all over the world right now," and criticized, "So why the victim cosplay? It is rather because they are 'incompetent women.'"
She also said, "In this administration, female ministers should be seen as having secured their positions solely because they are women," adding, "They do not resist any tasks assigned to them, do not argue that something cannot be done, do not publicly throw tantrums like some who resigned, and obediently do as they are told, shamelessly unaware of their embarrassment."
She added, "The best strategy is to quickly take off clothes that do not fit," and said, "Stop collectively insulting the women of this land any longer."
