Woori Bank Launches 'One Financial Certificate' with Universal Compatibility, First in the Financial Sector
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Woori Bank announced on the 17th that it has launched the 'WON Financial Certificate,' the first cloud-based financial certificate in the financial sector, designed to be widely usable across various institutions by enhancing its versatility.
With the abolition of the public certification system following the revision of the Electronic Signature Act effective from the 10th of next month, Woori Bank explained that the newly launched 'WON Financial Certificate' offers both the versatility of the existing public certificate and the convenience of private certificates.
The 'WON Financial Certificate' does not require storing the certificate on a PC or smartphone but securely stores it in the cloud, allowing convenient use on both PC and smartphone, and can be used across various institutions, including public organizations.
The password input methods include ▲PIN (6-digit password) ▲pattern ▲biometric authentication, enabling faster and more convenient authentication. Additionally, the authentication methods for login and transfer transactions are differentiated to further enhance security.
