[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters (Jeju) Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] The Jeju Regional Maritime Police Agency (Chief Kim Seongjong) announced on the 17th that it has independently developed the ‘Jeju Marine Comprehensive Information’ application, which allows anyone to easily access marine information using a smartphone.
The ‘Jeju Marine Comprehensive Information’ is composed of marine safety, marine weather, and marine-related information to prepare for possible marine accidents in the Jeju waters.
Additionally, it has enhanced the utilization of marine safety information by linking with the ‘Jeju Coastal Safety Map’ produced last July.
The ‘Jeju Marine Comprehensive Information’ application can be downloaded through the Google Play Store. Currently, it is only available for the Android version, but additional development is planned to make it available for iPhone users as well.
