Gwanak-gu Nakseong Venture Startup Center 2nd OPEN IR Held
Communication and Networking with Outstanding VCs/ACs Hosted by Nakseong Venture Startup Center... Laying the Foundation for Future Growth with Customized Investment Attraction for Participating Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) Nakseong Venture Startup Center will hold the 2nd ‘OPEN IR (Investor Relations)’ event for social ventures and technology-based startups under 7 years old on the 26th, following the event held last August.
This event was planned to facilitate meetings between companies seeking investment and invited VCs (venture capital) and ACs (accelerators) to activate startup investment in Nakseong Venture Valley, Gwanak-gu.
The event will feature participation from six well-known domestic investment institutions: ▲Neoply ▲Magna Investment ▲KAIST Youth Startup Investment Holding ▲Quantum Ventures Korea ▲Kiwoom Investment ▲Kingsley Ventures.
The event will be held from 3 p.m. for about 120 minutes at the basement level 1 of Nakseong Venture Startup Center (2 Nakseong-daero). Each participating company will have 5 minutes for pitching and 5 minutes for Q&A with investment reviewers, followed by networking between participating companies and investors.
Additionally, the district will strictly adhere to COVID-19 prevention measures such as visitor log creation, temperature checks, and social distancing among attendees.
Companies wishing to participate can refer to the Nakseong Venture Startup Center website, apply via Google Form by the 20th, and submit business-related materials such as business plans or company introductions to the Nakseong Venture Startup Center email (info@nvsc.co.kr) by the 23rd.
The Nakseong Venture Startup Center (NVSC), where this event is held, is the anchor facility of ‘Nakseong Venture Valley,’ which discovers prospective entrepreneurs in the region and supports and fosters excellent companies.
Currently, a total of 30 companies, including 15 smart office companies, are housed here. It is a representative startup support facility in the southwestern area of Seoul, providing various programs such as ▲education ▲consulting ▲mentoring.
Meanwhile, Gwanak-gu is expanding the ‘Nakseong Venture Valley’ project centered on Nakseongdae-dong and promoting the ‘Gwanak S Valley’ project throughout Gwanak-gu, including creating the ‘Sillim Startup Valley’ in the Daehak-dong area.
