‘2020 Gwangjin-gu Village Autonomy Festival’ Held Online

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seongap) and the Gwangjin-gu Village Autonomy Center will hold the '2020 Gwangjin-gu Village Autonomy Festival' online for five days from the 16th to the 20th.
Now in its sixth year, the Village Autonomy Festival is themed "Dancing Village, Dreaming Autonomy" and is designed as an occasion to share and encourage the achievements of local village communities and the newly launched residents' autonomy councils over the past year.
This event will be held over five days in five zones divided among 15 neighborhoods, taking place in village spaces within each zone. It will be broadcast live in real time through the Gwangjin-gu Village Autonomy Center YouTube channel, allowing anyone to watch freely.
The event will begin on the 16th at 'Space Chaekbaram' located in Guui 3-dong, followed by ▲ Junggok 4-dong Community Center on the 17th ▲ Jayang 1-dong Jayang Station on the 18th ▲ Gwangjang-dong Chaekbang Yeoreum on the 19th ▲ and Hwayang-dong Community Center Residents' Sarangbang on the 20th, featuring a variety of programs.
The event will open with an opening performance, followed by main programs such as ▲ Story Square (sharing stories of village communities and residents' autonomy councils) ▲ Map Square (drawing activity maps by zone) ▲ Hanmadang (singing together), along with events in which residents can participate, providing a variety of enjoyable activities.
