3500 Job Seekers Flock to Gangnam-gu Startup Recruitment Festival
110 Promising Companies Participate in Online and Offline Recruitment Interviews from November 2 to 13... Over 12,000 Visitors Access the Website
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) attracted more than 3,500 job seekers to the ‘2020 Startup Recruitment Festival,’ held in an ontact (online contact) format from the 2nd to the 13th to establish a robust employment safety net.
The festival featured 110 startups from the region, with 2,873 job seekers participating online and 649 offline, and the official website recorded 12,189 visitors.
In particular, at the offline event held on the 13th at COEX, recruitment booths from 20 companies including Junggonara, Yanadoo, and Brandy were set up, where on-site interviews between job seekers and HR managers took place.
Additionally, a talk concert sharing actual startup experiences, success know-how, and future startup directions with startup CEOs, as well as corporate presentations (IR pitching) featuring venture capitalists (VCs) and accelerators, were live-streamed on YouTube.
Moreover, video-based interviews using an application recruitment platform were conducted.
