View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Wondara] Park Yong-jin of the Democratic Party and former People Power Party lawmaker Kim Se-yeon are publishing a dialogue book titled "Let's Talk About Our New Era (working title)."
Dr. Woo Seok-hoon, an economist preparing the dialogue book with Park and Kim, posted on Facebook on the 15th, "We completed five hours of dialogue over two weeks with Park Yong-jin and Kim Se-yeon," adding, "The goal is to publish the dialogue book within this year, but it's tight."
He said, "Having five sessions solely about what kind of world to create and policies is not something that happens very often," adding, "It is meaningful to gather from different camps to share opinions on policies, but it is very tiring and difficult. It felt like walking a solitary path."

Dr. Woo, author of "The 880,000 Won Generation" and considered a progressive economist, has consistently criticized the entrenched 586 generation since the 'Cho Kuk incident' last year. Recently, Park has re-evaluated former presidents Rhee Syngman and Park Chung-hee through lectures and Facebook posts, stating that "we must overcome factional logic to achieve community integration." Former lawmaker Kim declared he would not run in the last general election, calling the then Liberty Korea Party (predecessor of the People Power Party) a "lifeless zombie" and saying "it would be better to dissolve the party."
