View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Nahana] Hong Joon-pyo, an independent lawmaker representing Daegu Suseong-gu Eul, criticized the Moon Jae-in administration, saying that the military balance on the Korean Peninsula is collapsing and that the government is moving closer to the socialist alliance.
On the 15th, Hong wrote on his Facebook, "Why has there been no war in Northeast Asia, the world's powder keg, for over 70 years since the Korean War?" He argued that the reason for the absence of war was because "for the past 70 years, there has been a firm balance of power between the 'North Korea-China-Russia socialist alliance' and the 'South Korea-US-Japan liberal alliance' in Northeast Asia and on the Korean Peninsula."
He continued, "War occurs when the balance of power collapses. But that balance of power has recently been breaking down," and pointed out, "Since the Moon administration took office, the South Korea-US-Japan liberal alliance has been deteriorating due to moves to break away from it and approach the North Korea-China-Russia socialist alliance."
He also criticized, "Japan's remilitarization efforts are accelerating, and North Korea's nuclear program is nearing completion, causing the military balance on the Korean Peninsula to collapse."
Hong further condemned the government's behavior from a partisan perspective, saying, "The situation on the Korean Peninsula has rapidly changed since the Moon administration came into power, yet it still deceives the people with talk of peace," and added, "Amid the US-China hegemonic war plunging the world into greater chaos, the Moon administration is solely fixated on Kim Jong-un."
